My extended weekend of poor eating is haunting me. Of course, we all know how hard it is to take off what so quickly went on.
Plus, the cravings. Sugar sugar sugar. ug.
I had a chiropractic appointment on Monday afternoon however and she said that there was another noticeable difference in how I look and feel to her hands. That is worth a million weigh-ins!!
So I'm struggling with water, a constant theme for me (former soda monster), and still fighting the carb overload. But, I'm not going to worry too hard. I'm getting it sorted out.
Water is open and on my desk. Its going to happen today!
Oh my gosh the title of your post is sooooooooo true!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd yay for the chiro comment!
:) it was one of the best compliments I've ever had!!
DeleteI've learned so far that this is a life time goal. Meaning that one day or one weekend or whatever is not going to sabotage your decision to change and reach your goal as long as you acknowledge it like you are and jump back in there. Sugar cravings suck. I have to track everything I'm eating so I can go back and look and see why I'm craving something and it's usually because I've allowed myself to have too many carbs and I have to once again re-evaluate what I'm doing. The good thing is...you know exactly what you need to do which gives you the power over it. It's definitely not an easy road for sure. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteExactly!! Sugar is an evil mistress!!!
